Resolite CR (FS25A) Opaque is a resistant sheet of reinforced polymer with fiberglass (FRP) of great resistance and with flame classification UL 25. Resolite CR resistant sheet was especially developed for roofs and walls of the high specification industry. Available in Series 30 (30% fiberglass) and Series 40 (40% fiberglass) and great variety of models, from 840 (8 oz/ft 2 nominal) up to 1440 (of 14 oz/ft nominal square). Series 30 has a C/W barrier which is an available option both for exterior surfaces as for interior. The C/W barrier is a high range solution to improve weathering resistance of the FRP sheets and is superior to high volatile coatings applied by sprinkling, that erode and disappear in a short time.

Description
FRP RESOLITE CR (FS25A/CRFS25A) SHEETS SERIES ‘30’
In the industrial and corrosion markets, Resolite and Anti-Flame - Resolite CR(FS25A) are synonyms of high-quality polymer sheets reinforced with fiberglass with fire resistant classification. Resolite’s production started in 1951, and in 1964 developed and manufactured the first FRP fire retardant sheets.
In very corrosive environments, such as pickling operations in steelworks, the maintenance equipment discovered that after some years of exposing the coating of the metallic sheet, it fell and the only intact thing were the translucent FRP sheets. Since it began 50 years ago, Resolite has become the leader manufacturer of FRP sheets in the corrosion market.
Resolite CR Translucent (FS25A) is the translucent version of Resolite CR Opaque (FS25A), which is the opaque sheet of Resolite’s fire retardants. Bothe versions are available in a great variety of profiles and many types (1430 to 830), they have a nominal weight that goes from 14 oz/ft2 to 8 oz/ft2 respectively.
Resolite CR (FS25A and CRFS25A) sheets are a matrix made of polyester reinforced with cut fiberglass. This fiberglass reinforcement is multidirectional and provides equal resistance in all directions. Even though other kinds of fiberglass reinforcements, such as fiberglass arranged only in linear form, may provide characteristics of greater hardness than the sheet, as well as more clear capacity, these sacrifices elasticity. The ability of the FRP sheets in terms of absorption of several forces without presenting risks to its structural integrity is critical for its long-term performance.
The C/W Barrier is an available option both for exterior and interior surfaces of the Series 30 sheets. The C/W barrier is a high range solution to improve the weathering resistance of FRP sheets and is very superior to highly volatile coatings applied by sprinkling, that corrode and disappear in a short time.
Resolite FS25A and CRFS25A sheets have more than 50 years of history of long-term performance, both have been used where fire, corrosion and weathering resistance characteristics are critical. Examples of its applications are mills for producing steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous manufacturing processes, pickling operations, cooling towers, fertilizer plants, chemical producers, pulp and paper mills, mining operations, facilities for water and wastewater treatment and many other applications of industrial buildings.
FRP RESOLITE CR (FS25A/CRFS25A) SHEETS SERIE ‘40’
In the corrosion industrial market, Resolite and Anti-Flame - FS25A are synonyms of polymer sheets reinforced with fiberglass of high quality with fire resistance classification. Resolite’s production started in 1951, and in 1964 developed and manufactured the first FRP fire retardant sheets.
Series 40 sheets with FS25A (translucent) and CRFS25A (opaque) were developed to meet the growing requirement of high resistance FRO sheets. A combination of cut fiberglass reinforcement arranged in a multidirectional way with other one linked arranged in bidirectional way, is the ideal solution for greater clear capabilities without scarifying elasticity or impact resistance.
Ability of FRP sheet to absorb forces without damaging its structural integrity is critical for its long-term performance. The continuous and straight fiberglass provides harder and with more clear sheets that are susceptible to fracture along the fiberglass under continuous cycles and specially when walking on them. Linked fiberglass arranged in bidirectional way provides additional reinforcement for bigger clears and distributes more evenly the effort of the impact and cyclic loads, allowing the FRP sheets to keep their elasticity.
The unique balance provided by Resolite on multiple fiberglass reinforcements with isophthalic polyester resin allows designs that maximize both, the performance of the sheet in situ and the load capacity without scarifying functional requirements.
Resolite takes the corrosion resistance and a Good weathering resistance a step forward, providing a C/W Barrier as a standard on exterior and interior surfaces of the Series 40 sheets. The C/W Barrier is a high range solution to improve the weathering resistance of the FRP sheets and is very superior to highly volatile coatings applied by sprinkling that erode and disappear in a short time.
Resolite FS25A and CRFS25A sheets have a history of more than 50 years of long-term performance, both have been used where fire resistance, corrosion and weathering characteristics are critical.
Building where they have been installed are mills for producing steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous manufacturing processes, pickling operations, cooling towers, fertilizer plants, chemical producers, mills of pulp and paper, mining operations, facilities for water and wastewater treatment, and many other industrial buildings applications.
